The first semi-final in WFC 2010 between Finland and Czech Republic ended with a Finnish victory.
Finland decided the match in the beginning of the third period and advanced to the WFC Final with a 6-1 victory over Czech Republic.
But the Czechs played well during the first half of the game and held on to a 1-0 lead after Tomas Sladkys goal less then two minutes into the game.
There were 12 000 spectators in Hartwall Areena, including almost 200 Czech fans.
Czech Republic will end their tournament in the bronze match against Switzerland.
